Former US President Donald Trump rushed out of a pre-taped interview in a fury, yelling “turn the cameras off!” after Piers Morgan probed him on his 2020 election falsehoods claims.

In an interview that will debut on his new Fox Nation show Piers Morgan Uncensored on April 25, the first-ever Celebrity Apprentice winner repeatedly questioned the twice-impeached ex-president on his unsubstantiated claims that he only lost the 2020 presidential election due to rampant voter fraud.

In reaction, Trump mocked Morgan, calling him a “fool” and claiming that he was “more honest” than the British tabloid veteran.

“I think I’m a very honest man,” in teaser footage aired on Wednesday, Trump stated at one point.

Furthermore, when Morgan assured him that the 2020 election would be “free and fair,” the disgraced former president retorted, “Only a fool would say that.” Morgan eventually acknowledged that the former president and his supporters “haven’t produced the hard evidence” to back their wild election claims after more than a year, only for Trump to throw some more choice insults his way.

“I don’t think you’re real,” Trump raged before accusing Morgan of being “very dishonest.” At the end of the brief video, Trump is seen walking away after yelling, “Turn off the camera!”

“Very dishonest,” he repeated himself as he shambled away.

Morgan revealed more about his feud with the former president in a New York Post editorial published on Wednesday. He claimed that Trump chastised him for believing that Trump’s actions on January 6 resulted in the Capitol insurgency.

“Then you’re a fool! And you haven’t studied,” exclaimed the former president.

Morgan did, however, point out that by bringing up Trump’s recent hole-in-one, he was able to deter Trump from storming out of the interview.

However, after Trump was able to brag about his golf feat, Morgan claimed Trump gave him a “hateful” look before ordering that the cameras be turned off.
