Gold prices in India remained flat, breaking the worldwide trend. The yellow metal is on track to have its worst quarter since early 2021. Treasury rates in the United States fell, but a strong dollar took the lustre off the safe-haven asset.

Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) decreased marginally on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 50,720.00 per 10 gm, down 9 points or 0.02%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading at Rs 59,880.00 per kg, up 89 points or 0.15%.

In global markets, gold was priced at $1,817.03 per oz while Silver is priced at $20.76. Platinum was trading at $913.44 while palladium was trading at $1,972.61. 

In the spot market, the 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 49,930 per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 59,853 per kg on Wednesday according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

Copper futures were trading at Rs 700.50 down 0.57% while Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 513.70 and Rs 210.00 per Kg respectively on MCX. 

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,750 in Mumbai, Kolkata, and New Delhi, according to the Good Returns website. The same quantity of yellow metal is being traded-in Chennai for Rs 46,830.

The price of ten grams of 24-carat gold in Kolkata and Mumbai is Rs 51,000. The same amount is worth Rs 51,090 and Rs 51,050 in Chennai and New Delhi, respectively.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,900 and Rs 46,770 in Chandigarh and Mysore, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat purity is worth Rs 51,150 in Chandigarh and Rs 51,020 in Mysore.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,750 in Hyderabad and Kerala. The same quantity may be purchased in Bengaluru for Rs 46,770.

The same quantity of 22-carat purity is also being marketed at Rs 46,750 in Vishakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, and Vijayawada.

Furthermore, ten grams of 24-carat gold costs Rs 51,000 in Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Vishakhapatnam, Kerala, and Vijayawada. It is priced at Rs 51,020 in Bengaluru.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,780 and Rs 46,900 in Vadodara and Jaipur, respectively. The same quantity of 24-carat purity is priced at Rs 51,030 in Vadodara and Rs 51,150 in Jaipur.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold may be purchased for Rs 46,780 in Patna and Nashik. In both locations, the same amount of 24-carat purity is being marketed for Rs 51,030.
