Gold, silver and other metal prices on Tuesday, May 10, 2022

- Gold futures were trading at Rs 50,995.00 per 10 gm, up 36 points or 0.07%
- Silver futures were trading at Rs 61,890.00 per kg, up 393 points or 0.64%
- Platinum was trading at $968.00 while palladium was trading at $2,147.00
In the Indian market, gold prices were trading flat with a positive bias on Tuesday following a fall in the US treasury yields. However, a strong US dollar capped gains for the yellow metal.
Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) increased marginally on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 50,995.00 per 10 gm, up 36 points or 0.07%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading at Rs 61,890.00 per kg, up 393 points or 0.64%.
In global markets, gold was priced at $1,862.86 per oz while Silver is priced at $22.09. Platinum was trading at $968.00 while palladium was trading at $2,147.00.
In the spot market, the 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 50,240 per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 61,361 per kg on Thursday according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.
Copper futures were trading at Rs 762.25 up 0.87% while Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 547.50 and Rs 234.70 per Kg respectively on MCX.
In New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are being traded at Rs 47,500, according to the Good Returns website.
In Chennai, the same quantity of gold is being traded at Rs 48,590.
The 24-carat gold rates, 10 grams of it in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata are being sold at Rs 51,810. The same amount of 24-carat purity is being traded-in Chennai at Rs 53,000.
In Jaipur and Coimbatore, 10 grams of 22-carat gold are being purchased at Rs 47,650 and Rs 48,590 respectively. The same quantity of 24-carat purity is valued at Rs 51,960 in Jaipur and Rs 53,000 in Coimbatore.
In Hyderabad, Kerala, and Bengaluru, 10 grams of 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 47,500. Similarly, in Vishakhapatnam, Mangalore, and Mysore, the same amount of 22-carat purity is also being sold at Rs 47,500. Moreover, 10 grams of 24-carat gold is valued at Rs 51,810 in all the above areas.
The ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,580 and Rs 47,320 in Vadodara and Ahmedabad, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat purity costs Rs 51,890 in Vadodara and Rs 51,540 in Jaipur.
