Hailey Bieber had been hospitalized with a brain condition, and doctors believed it could be related to COVID, TMZ reports. However, she’s now safe.

The model, who’s 25 years old, was admitted to a Palm Springs area hospital, a few days back due to a “medical emergency” which impacted the way she moved. The symptoms Bieber displayed were reportedly more common in an elderly person and not a runway model.

Doctors reportedly ran several tests to determine the cause of her symptoms and also explored if it could be COVID-related. This is because her husband, Justin Bieber, was recently diagnosed with COVID. The 28-year-old pop star who rose to fame with ‘Baby’, had to cancel a show in Las Vegas due to his diagnosis. However, he has recovered since then.

Hailey Bieber has now been released from the hospital while doctors continue to look for the root of the medical issue.

She posted an Instagram story, detailing, “On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke like symptoms and was taken to the hospital,” and added, “They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours”. She continued. “Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!”

She concluded the message, saying “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love”.
