Gujarat Titans have qualified for the IPL 2022 final after defeating Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in Kolkata on Tuesday. David Miller was named Player of the Match after collecting 68 runs off 38 balls against RR.

Hardik Pandya, the GT captain, won the toss and chose to bowl first. Millers’s unbeaten 68 helped the Titans hit the 191-run goal set by RR.

Gujarat Titans lead the IPL 2022 points table with 10 wins and have qualified for the finals.

The Mumbai Indians were helpful in enabling Royal Challengers Bangalore to a last-four berth in this IPL, but the Faf du Plessis-led side will be on their own with no second chance when they face Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator on Wednesday at the Eden Gardens.

Making the playoffs for the first time since 2016, RCB will be eager to win the coveted trophy for the first time after finishing runners-up three times previously.

The former league champions, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians appear to be out of points and luck this season. Only four of Chennai Super Kings’ ten matches have resulted in a win, and the team has dropped to ninth place. Mumbai Indians have won only two games and are currently ranked last in the points table with nine defeats.
