A chance to lead IPL 2022 will be at stake as the Sunrisers Hyderabad take on the Gujarat Titans at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday. The winner of the game will go on top of the points table.

SRH have had an interesting journey this season. Kane Williamson and co faced heavy defeats in their first two games before bouncing back to win five in a row. They now occupy the third rung of the points table with 12 points and a healthy net run rate of 0.691.

What has worked for the Orange Army is their pace bowling attack. Their four speedsters managed to demolish Royal Challengers Bangalore’s star-studded line-up for 68 runs in the previous encounter.

South African pacer Marco Jansen has picked six wickets in five games, Umran Malik has 10 in seven, T Natarajan has fired with 15 from 7 games and Bhuvneshwar Kumar has nine from as many.

The Gujarat Titans on the other hand have suffered only one loss this season, which was against SRH in their first-leg meeting. They have a chance to become the first team in IPL 2022 to reach the magic number of 14 points.
