Rapper Fat Joe is teaming up with tech giant Jack Dorsey to help Americans pay rising gas prices.

Fat Joe came on board with Cash App, owned by Dorsey’s Block Inc, handing out $100,000, to those using the app who might be needing help to pay for fuel. The hashtag #GasCash began trending on Twitter and several social media users posted screenshots of payments received via the app.

With the trend gaining steam, some even posted the QR codes linked to their Cash App accounts, hoping other generous donors might chip in as well.

Fat Joe tweeted, “Gas prices are all the way up so I’m giving away $100k to help you at the pump”.

A user who’d posted their handle on Cash App wrote “I’m a delivery driver and I commute 1hr every day just to deliver packages for people. I love my job & I have my own place for the first time in my life at 43. (Better late than never) providing for my daughter after being kicked out at Christmas by my ex.”
