Klopp said "I signed a new contract knowing that City will not stop developing, so it's not about if City keep flying whether we can be happy or not. It's about us and what we can make of it", adding, "We have so many opportunities and so many different ways to win a football game, and we to find just one. That's possible, obviously, and we can do that."
In the current season, Liverpool's 1-1 tie with Tottenham Hotspur, along with City's 5-0 thrashing of Newcastle, has given Guardiola's side a thee point lead and some breathing space in a hotly contested title race.
With the Spaniard's attention to perfection and the German's focus on mentality and intensity, the Liverpool and City rivalry has currently become one of the finest in the footballing world.
