Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar on Wednesday confirmed that his famous celebrity chat show “Koffee With Karan” will no longer be returning to the screens. He made the announcement on social media.

In a statement, shared by Karan Johar, it said, “Hello, Koffee with Karan has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now. I’d like to think we’ve made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee with Karan will not be returning…”

Earlier, it was reported that “Koffee With Karan” has been renewed for another season, and the host, Karan would begin shooting in May.

Koffee with Karan premiered on Star World India on November 19, 2004. Hosted by Karan Johar, the last episode of the show’s concluding season was aired on March 17, 2019.

Many Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Katrina Kaif and others graced the show as special guests and won viewers hearts with candid chat with host Karan Johar.
