Khris Middleton, who plays forward for Milwaukee Bucks, had to leave the court mid-game on Wednesday after a knee injury, giving Playoff opponents Chicago Bulls a freeway to victory. Game two ended with a 114-110 tally in favour of the Bulls, with the series getting tied at 1-1.

Middleton sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee and will undergo an MRI on Thursday, Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said after the game.

With nearly seven minutes remaining on the clock, Middleton was escorted off the court with the injury. Bucks were now playing without their lead forward, leaving the game open-ended for rivals Chicago Bulls.

Middleton had 18 points and eight assists before leaving the game. The 30-year-old averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists during the season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the star player for Milwaukee Bucks, said after the game, “You could see that he (Middleton) was limping, limping and limping”, according to reports from Associated Press.

“You are thinking, ‘I hope this is not bad. I hope this is not bad. I hope this is not bad.’ We need this guy. Then when he asks for a sub, you know it’s kind of bothering him because he doesn’t leave the game if he’s not hurt”, Giannis Antetokounmpo added.

DeRozan scored a career playoff-high 41 points and the Bulls outlasted the Bucks 114-110 on Wednesday night in Game 2.

Nikola Vucevic added 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Zach LaVine had 20 points as the sixth-seeded Bulls beat the third-seeded Bucks for just the second time in their last 19 meetings.

Chicago Bulls suffered a low-score defeat in the first Playoff game against the Milwaukee Bucks, which ended with a tally of 93-86. With the Bulls bouncing back in the Playoffs, the Bucks will need to come back stronger in the upcoming games.
