Sensex fell 185.254 points or 0.33% to 55,381.17 and
Nifty was down by 61.80 points or 0.37% to 16,522.75 on Wednesday.

Sensex touched a high and low of 55,791.49 and 55,091.43,
respectively. There were 10 stocks advancing against 20 stocks declining on the
index.

Nifty traded in a range of 16,649.20 and 16,438.35. There
were 19 stocks advancing against 31 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended mixed with the BSE Mid cap
index falling 0.10%, while Small cap index was up by 0.62%. On the sectoral front,
Capital Goods was up by 0.75%, Industrials up by 0.70%, Metal up by 0.46%,
Bankex up by 0.44% and PSU up by 0.38%, while Power down by 1.70%, Utilities
down by 1.51%, TECK down by 1.18%, Healthcare down by 1.16% and Realty down by
1.15% were the top losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Mahindra &
Mahindra up by 1.32%, HDFC up by 0.94%, Kotak Mahindra Bank up by 0.90%, Tata
Steel up by 0.70% and HDFC Bank up by 0.64%. On the flip side, Nestle down by
2.99%, Tech Mahindra down by 2.86%, Bajaj Finserv down by 2.63%, Sun Pharma
down by 2.40% and HCL Technologies down by 2.10% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were JSW Steel up by 3.56%, Coal
India up by 2.02%, HDFC Life Insurance up by 1.51%, Kotak Mahindra Bank up by
1.31% and Mahindra & Mahindra up by 1.22%. On the flip side, Bajaj Auto
down by 3.65%, Apollo Hospital down by 3.25%, Hindalco down by 2.88%, Tech
Mahindra down by 2.76% and Bajaj Finserv down by 2.70% were the top losers.

ABB India Limited, Nippon India Mutual Fund, Blue Dart
Express Limited, eMudhra Limited and Fine Organic Industries Limited have made
fresh 52 week high on Wednesday.

Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, Akshar Spintex
Limited, Axis Mutual Fund – Axis Banking ETF, Bafna Pharmaceuticals Limited and
Debock Industries Limited have hit a 52-week low on Wednesday.

INFY, RELIANCE,
TATASTEEL, ZOMATO, ADANIGREEN, HDFCBANK, M&M, ICICIBANK, HDFC and COALINDIA
were the most active equities on NSE.

NXTDIGITAL Limited, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund – Motilal
Oswal S&P BSE Low Volatility ETF, Ganges Securities Limited, Prime Focus
Limited and MMP Industries Limited were the top volume gainers.

ADL, ADROITINFO, AJRINFRA, ANKITMETAL and ARENTERP hit
the upper price band while 21STCENMGM, 3PLAND, 63MOONS, AARVI and ADANIPOWER hit
the lower price band. There were 117 securities that hit the upper band while
66 hit the lower band on June 1, 2022.
