Rashmika Mandana posted on social media on Tuesday to reveal that
she will be sharing screen space in her upcoming film with Thalapathy Vijay.

The actress shared pictures with the caption, “Ok now this feels
like something else… Been watching sir for years and years and now to do
everything that I’ve been wanting to do… act with him, dance with him, take his
nazar, talk to him… everything… yaaaaay finally! An absolute delight.”

Rashmika was photographed removing the actor’s ‘nazar’ (evil eye),
standing with him with her infectious smile on full display, and also posing
with the Thalapathy 66 team. Rashmika chose a yellow lehenga for the occasion,
while Thalapathy Vijay wore a denim shirt and khaki leggings. Vijay appears
calm and collected, while Rashmika is her adorable bubbly self.

The Thalapathy 66 crew broke the exciting news on the birthday of
the south Indian film industry’s most beloved actress.

Vijay’s 66th film began shooting on Wednesday in Chennai with a
traditional puja ceremony. The upcoming film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 66,
will be shot in Telugu and Tamil at the same time. It will be directed by
Vamshi Paidipally. Hari and Ashishor Solomon penned the story and screenplay
alongside Vamshi Paidipally. Karthick Palani is in charge of the camera, and KL
Praveen is in charge of  editing.

Another avid Vijay admirer, music composer Thaman, is
collaborating with him for the first time in Thalapathy 66.

Thaman took to his social media handles and wrote, “My
longgestttttt Wait!! For Our Dearest @actorvijay Anna Has finally Come True.
It’s A great Feeling to be On Board for #Thalapathy66 along with dear
@directorvamshi @SVC_official #DilRaju. For Me it’s Going to be 6-6-6-6-6-6 !!
