A crab is seen emerging out of a woman’s ear in a viral video.

Thousands of people have been terrified after seeing footage of a live crab caught inside a woman’s ear. The video was published on TikTok by a user known as ‘@wesdaisy.’ The little crab entered the woman’s ear as she was snorkelling in San Juan, Puerto Rico, according to the description.

A friend’s repeated attempts to expel the invader are shown in the video. Using tweezers, the man was seen attempting to remove the crab from the woman’s ear. After several failed attempts, the crab hopped out, causing the woman to yell in disgust. “What is that?” she exclaimed as the video ended.

“Snorkelling in San Juan. A f**king crab yo,” the caption on the TikTok video read. You can see the video below, but be warned: it is not for the faint of heart.

According to The Independent, the video clip has surpassed 1.3 million views on the video-sharing platform. Many people were horrified by the video, calling it a “nightmare” come true.

Many people, ranging from medical professionals to content creators, have joined the conversation to express their distaste and anxieties, leaving many in awe. Another woman had a similar situation while swimming in Puerto Rico a few months ago.

Daisy Wes, the woman who posted the video, disclosed in the comments section that the event did not deter her from participating in water activities and that she went kayaking the next day. She also advised her viewers to use earplugs when snorkelling.
