Rudy Giuliani’s unmasking on Fox TV reality show ‘The Masked Singer’ prompted judge Ken Jeong to walk out in protest. The former New York City mayor and personal attorney for ex-President Donald Trump appeared on Wednesday’s episode wearing a rooster costume and singing George Thorogood and The Destroyers’ ‘Bad to the Bone’.

‘The Masked Singer’ is a reality TV show where popular celebrities walk on stage in head-to-toe costumes to conceal their identity while performing for a live audience. 

As soon as Giuliani, dressed as a giant rooster, came out of the box singing ‘Bad to the Bone’, the judges started making their guesses. Nicole Scherzinger asked, “Is that Robert Duvall?”  Ken Jeong snapped back saying, “No, that’s not Robert Duvall.”

When the grand reveal was made, judges and the audience looked shocked. Robin Thicke said, “This is definitely something I never would have guessed.”

As Rudy Giuliani, unmasked, started performing his piece Ken Jeong said, “I am done” and walked off.

Host Nick Cannon asked Giuliani why he came on the show “with all of the controversy that’s surrounding you right now.” The Donald Trump aide has on several occassion falsely claimed that the 2020 election was stolen.

His law license in New York was suspended last June 2021. The 77-year-old made “demonstrably false and misleading” statements about voter fraud, the New York appellate court found. His license is also suspended in Washington

Giuliani said he came for his granddaughter.  “I guess the main reason is, I just had a granddaughter, Grace, and I want her to know that you should try everything, even things that are completely unlike you and unlikely,” he said.

“I couldn’t think of anything more unlike me and unlikely than this. And I enjoy the show. I have for years. And it just seemed like it’d be fun. I don’t get to have a lot of fun,” the 77-year-old further added.
