Corbin is a 27-year-old South African all-rounder. He is bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 20 lakh. On Saturday, he replaced Australian fast bowler Coulter-Nile, who suffered a calf injury in March and has been ruled out for the rest of the tournament. Bosch was a net bowler for RR this season.

The all-rounder Corbin will be available for selection in RR’s next fixture against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), on Sunday, at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

Bosch has played 30 T20s, scored 151 runs and taken 18 wickets. He has also played 24 first-class matches, and 21 List A matches.

He just played one match in the CSA T20 Challenge in February, but in the recent CSA provincial one-day challenge, he scored 163 runs at an average of 81.50, and taken 10 wickets.

Bosch was part of South Africa’s U-19 World Cup winning South African team in 2014 in the UAE. He played alongside Kagiso Rabada.

In domestic cricket, he plays for Titans. In 2018-19 season, he was named in the Titans squad. Next season, he was selected to play for Dublin Chiefs in the inaugural editor of the Euro T20 Slam. But he could not do anything impressive as the tournament was cancelled.

Son of former South African crickter Tretius Bosch, the lanky all-rounder was named in the Tshwane Spartans team for the 2019 Mzansi Super League tournament. In April 2021, he was named in Northerns’ squad, ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa.

“Coulter-Nile’s replacement, Corbin Bosch, is a 27-year-old all-rounder from South Africa who was part of the Rajasthan Royals squad as a net bowler. He has played 30 T20s, scored 151 runs and taken 18 wickets. He will join RR at the price of Rs 20 lakh,” the IPL said in a press release on Saturday.
