Sidhu Moose Wala, Punjabi
‘gangster’ rap singer and Congress politician, was shot dead in the middle of
the road while on his way to Mansa. Police officials in Delhi and Punjab are on
the hunt for the killers and there are several names surfacing. One of the most
recent names to surface is that of a man who identifies himself as Sachin
Thapan Bishnoi.

Sachin Thapan
Bishnoi, who spoke to News18 and who’s video went viral, said he killed Sidhu
Moose Wala “with his own hands”. Sachin Thapan also identified himself as
related to Lawrence Bishnoi; a 38-year-old man alleged to run a criminal
organisation. He said Lawrence Bishnoi was his ‘mama’ (uncle) and the two of
them hail from the same village.

Thapan added that
Moose Wala was not killed for any publicity stunt nor for ransom but because of
his purported role in financially helping and sheltering gangsters who killed
Vicky Middukhera.

Vicky Middukhera
or Vikramjit Singh, 33, was a Youth Akali Dal leader. He was shot dead on
August 7, 2021. Sources say Singh had once lent support to Lawrence Bishnoi
when he contested as a leader of the Students Organisation of Panjab University
(SOPU).

Sachin Thapan is
the latest name to come up in the Moose Wala killing. However, all the names
that have come up are in some way or the other connected to Lawrence Bishnoi. On
Friday, several media reports claimed that Bishnoi had confessed to his
involvement in the Moose Wala murder. However, Delhi police came out with a
statement denying reports of such confession.

“Delhi police says
Lawrence Bishnoi has not confessed to the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala. Bishnoi
said Moose Wala was murdered for revenge and he had no hand in his murder,”
Times Of India reported quoting sources.

Another name to
have come out with regard to the Moose Wala murder is that of Goldy Brar. Brar
had claimed responsibility for Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder in a Facebook post
earlier.
