Tyson Fury has announced yet another retirement resurgence, declaring he will fight Anthony Joshua for free.

Following his successful title defence against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium in April, Fury, the current WBC heavyweight champion, announced his retirement.

The Gypsy King then claimed that he would return to action to fight Joshua for a crisp half a billion pounds.

However, it has now been announced that he is ready to confront the London 2012 Olympic gold medalist for free.

During his recent nationwide tour, Fury stated, “It’s all about money, Mr Businessman – he’s not a fighting man.”

“I swear to God I hope he wins the fight against [Oleksandr] Usyk so that I can come out of retirement and fight him for free. However, the terms are this – I want it at Wembley stadium, I want it free to enter and I want it on free-to-air television in this country,” he added.

“I’ll fight him in England, not abroad in a foreign country for more money, here for free for the people,” Fury further clarified.

Fury’s repeated modifications to his retirement comeback details have puzzled fans.

When he originally hinted at a comeback, he stated a fight with Joshua would cost £200 million.

He later changed his mind and stated that he was only interested in demonstration bouts before declaring that he would make a professional return for £500 million.

Fury earned his WBC title in three fights against American Deontay Wilder.

Meanwhile, Joshua is nearing the end of his preparations to reclaim his WBA, WBO, WBA, and IBF championships from Usyk, who defeated him in their last fight in September.

The rematch is set for Saturday, August 20 in Jeddah, and the conclusion of that fight might decide the fate of any future battle between AJ and Fury.
