Indian equity benchmarks recovered from early lows to
settle marginally up on Tuesday following fag-end buying in energy, IT, and
auto stocks and a recovery in global equities. The BSE Sensex ended 16.17
points or 0.03% at 53,177.45. During the day, it had plunged 389.75 or 0.73% to
52,771.53. The NSE Nifty added 18.15 points or 0.11% to 15,850.20.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE Mid cap
index up by 0.18% and the Small-cap index up by 0.24%. On the sectoral front,
Oil & Gas was up by 2.54%, Energy was up by 2.45%, Metal was up by 1.97%,
Auto was up by 1.26% and PSU was up by 0.85%, while Consumer Durables was down
by 1.49%, Telecom down by 1.05%, Bankex down by 0.46%, Consumer Disc down by
0.05% and Power down by 0.02% were the top losing indices on BSE.

Here are the key stocks that moved the most on June 28:

Mahindra and Mahindra: The stock surged 2.57% to close at
Rs 1,110.50 after the company launched the new SUV Scorpio-N in domestic and
international markets. The company has announced prices for manual transmission
variants starting at Rs 11.99 lakhs and going up to Rs 19.49 lakh. Pricing for
the automatic variants as well as the four-wheel-drive variants will be
announced on July 21, according to the statement.

Tata Motors: The stock ended 0.77% higher at Rs 417.70
after the auto major decided to increase the prices of commercial vehicles from
July 1 by 1.5% to 2.5%.

Zomato: The stock closed 8.05% down at Rs 60.55 amid
concerns that the firm’s acquisition of Blinkit will strain its financials and
dampen the sentiment.

TVS Motor Company:
The company’s shares rose 2.25% to close at Rs 819.50 after the Chennai-based
company said it was focusing on electric vehicles and was coming up with
multiple products in the two and three-wheeler segments.
