With their action thriller The Gray Man, starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling, the Russo brothers have made their Netflix debut. 

The duo is well known for their outstanding work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the MCU, they are well known for directing the four films: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014); Captain America: Civil War (2016); Avengers: Infinity War (2018); and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

All these movies have been massive hits, with Endgame being the ultimate blockbuster, becoming one of the top-grossing movies of all time after earning $2.798 billion globally.

The Russo brothers are all set to garner the attention of the audience yet again with their upcoming projects.

1. Extraction 2 (TBA)

Extraction, an action film that came out during the pandemic, was simple, hard-hitting, and entertaining. The second part of the film is all set to be released. Extraction 2’s exact release date has not been announced by Netflix.

2. Past Midnight (TBA)

This is going to be the Russo brothers’ next superhero adventure on Netflix. In the movie, Midnight is a former superhero, who serves a 65-year jail term for vigilantism and he is requested to assist the police in battling his old arch-nemesis. The movie is still in its early phases of production.

3. Citadel (TBA)

A series from Joe and Anthony Russo will be made for Amazon Prime. The international event series will serve as a spark for the development of several original local languages and local production series. Citadel has no official release date yet.

4. A Christmas Carol (December 2023)

The creators of Avengers: Endgame are working on a contemporary adaptation of the cherished Christmas book. The modern adaptation of Charles Dickens’ 1843 classic Christmas tale will be written by the screenwriting duo of Mark Swift and Damian Shannon. There is no set date for release, but it is anticipated to be released by December 2023.

5. All Fun And Games (2023)

The Russo brothers are going to try their hand at making a horror movie for the first time with this. Asa Butterfield, the star of Sex Education, and Natalia Dyer, from Stranger Things, will appear in the movie. The film will be released in 2023, although there is no set date for its release.
