Foxx has yet to further address the controversy. His recent scandal reminded people of the time Kanye West was denounced by major brands and celebrities after he posted a series of anti-Semitic commentary on social media.
The 45-year-old rapper and Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband initially shared troubling messages on Twitter and Instagram. He expressed his desire to go “death con 3 [sic]” on people of Jewish faith in October 2022.
Soon after, he was locked out of multiple social media platforms and lost many billion-dollar brand deals. West has performed with Foxx on many songs including their “Gold Digger” duet in 2005. West has apologized for his remarks.
