Less than a month after her solo Super Bowl 2023 performance, Rihanna took to the Oscars stage on Sunday for a moving performance of her Oscar-nominated song “Lift Me Up.” A$AP Rocky, her boyfriend, was seen sitting in the audience. He was captured on video as he proudly joined the standing ovation for Rihanna after her performance. He cheered for her and raised a toast. His reaction has won hearts on social media.

Rihanna entered Los Angeles Dolby Theatre in a gray Eagles Tees, Black Vans sneakers, an olive green bucket hat, a tote bag, sunglasses, and golden hoop earrings with a matching chain bracelet.

Soon after the entry and before the performance, she changed her outfit. She wore a dark brown leather bra and maxi skirt set layered over a matching sheer mesh turtleneck top. The skirt had thigh cutouts on the side. Accessories included Moussaieff High Jewellery and strappy heels.

Her hair was styled in a spiky bun, wore shimmering silver eye shadow, rosy blush, and a bright red lip.

Rihanna again changed into another outfit to perform her first Oscar-nominated song Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The track was nominated for Best Original Song.

The singer performed “Lift me up” n a black bra embellished with a curtain of crystals and featuring sheer mesh straps. It was paired with matching black pants.

A$AP Rocky, his boyfriend didn’t pose for photos with Rihanna. He was seen sitting in the audience wearing a white blazer and black trousers.

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler previously spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about getting Rihanna to end her musical hiatus. He explained that he wanted the film’s closing song to not only honor the memory of leading star Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020 but to also reflect the experience of parenthood.

Earlier this year, in February, she performed her first Super Bowl Halftime Show, where she also announced her pregnancy with Rocky.
