Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif on Tuesday tested positive for COVID-19. Requesting everyone who came in contact with her in the past few days, the ‘Namastey London’ actor took to Instagram to inform fans about her health and said she had isolated herself.

This comes after several Bollywood actors including Katrina’s rumoured boyfriend Vicky Kaushal tested positive for coronavirus infection a few days back. Other Bollywood celebrities in the list are Akshay Kumar, Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor among many others.

On the work front, Katrina’s upcoming projects include Sooryavanshi that also features Akshay Kumar who has recently contacted the virus and was hospitalised and, Gurmmeet Singh’s Phone Bhoot alongside Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi.

She was last seen in Bharat against Salmaan Khan.

India is hit by a second wave of COVID-19 as the cases and death toll in the country is surging drastically.

On Tuesday, the country has recorded 96,982 new cases of COVID-19 and 446 deaths as per the Union Health Ministry’s data.
