Sherlyn Chopra has accused businessman Raj Kundra of sexual assault. In her complaint, the actor alleged that Kundra had called her manager in early 2019 with the idea of “The Sherlyn Chopra App”. He allegedly told the manager that she could upload her content on the app and monetise it.
Chopra alleged that she had a meeting with Kundra on March 27, 2019, following which they had an argument over a text. Kundra then showed up “unannounced” at her place and allegedly began “kissing” her even though she “resisted”.

The actor alleged that Kundra told her his relationship with his wife, Shilpa Shetty, was “complicated” and he was “stressed most of the time.” Sherlyn alleged that she asked Kundra to stop as she was “scared” and eventually managed to push him and rush into the washroom.
The 45-year-old businessman was allegedly involved in the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps.
The accused persons “made profits in lakhs in this illegal business of making pornographic films and uploading the same via some mobile apps for which subscription fees is taken from viewers,” Mumbai Police said.
The pornographic content was allegedly uploaded on an app ‘HotShots’ that was developed by Arms Prime Pvt Ltd, a company is owned by the businessman.
Kundra has been booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays), and relevant sections of the IT Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.
Meanwhile, Chopra was summoned by the Mumbai Crime Branch’s Property Cell to record her statement in connection to the pornography. She claimed that in March 2021, she shared information with the Cyber Cell of the Mumbai Police about Kundra’s company Armsprime that led to his arrest.
