Actors Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell got married over the weekend in a private ceremony in the state of Colorado, the actress announced on Instagram on Tuesday.
The social media posts, three of which were posted back to back, gave a glimpse of the special moments shared by the couple on September 4, 2021.
Collins wrote in one of the posts, “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell”, according to reports from E Online.

According to media reports, the attribution for Collins’ wedding day look goes towards hairstylist Gregory Russell, makeup artist Fiona Stiles and manicurist Thuy Nguyen. The ‘Emily In Paris’ star carried a wedding gown made by Ralph Lauren. The couple got married at Dunton Hot Springs.

In the Instagram posts, Collins, who is 32 years old, wrote, “Never been happier. What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality. I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start”, according to reports from E Online.
Collins and McDowell have often kept a lid on their relationship but decided to go public with it in August 2019. A little over a year later, Collins announced on social media that she got engaged to McDowell, the actor-director known for his work in the film ‘The One I Love’.

“I have been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together”, Collins wrote in the social media post that announced her engagement to McDowell, according to reports E Online.
Multiple celebrities were seen congratulating the newlywed couple on Instagram. These included Tan France and Sarah Hyland.
