Maroon 5 frontsman Adam Levine has finally broken his silence on the ongoing rumour that he cheated on his pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo with 23-year-old model Sumner Stroh, according to a report from the New York Post.

According to Stroh, the 43-year-old was seeing her “for about a year”. She even shared a screenshot of private messages that the crooner  had sent her. “It truly unreal how f***king hot you are,” the singer allegedly wrote in one of the messages, according to the New York Post. Stroh dropped the bombshell in a video on TikTok on Monday.

Levine made some clarifications on Tuesday in a statement to tabloid website TMZ. “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner,” he told the website. He went on to say that he had “crossed the line” and that in certain instances his messages “became inappropriate”. Levine ended the statement saying that he had “addressed” the incident and that he had taken “proactive steps” to remedy the situation with his family.

In her video, she said that her allegations were never supposed to see the light of day, but that a trusted friend of hers sent the screenshots and “attempted to sell [them] to a tabloid.”

Stroh went on to say in her video that at the time she was young and naive, saying, “…quite frankly, I feel exploited.” Speaking to Page Six, the model said that the nature of the relationship was “physical”, adding that the affair had ended earlier this year and that she hadn’t “spoken to him in months.”
