A day after Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s reported
trip to Saudi Arabia, the Israeli health ministry has added the kingdom
in the ‘green’ list, allowing returning travellers to proceed into the country
without quarantining, AFP reported.
Confirming Saudi’s addition to the ‘green’ list, the ministry
denied any link between the move and Netanyahu’s trip to the Red sea city of
Neom on Sunday.

Health ministry director general Hezi Levi described the process
to be very simple and explained that it happens every two weeks.
“It has nothing to do with anyone’s visit to any country,” AFP quoted him as saying.

According to Israeli media, Netanyahu travelled to Neom with the
purpose of holding talks with the crown prince Mohammad bin Salman, the de
facto ruler of the kingdom.
AFP cited an Israeli government official confirming the talks, with
Riyadh firmly denying the existence of any such dialogue until the Palestinian
conflict is resolved.
Bahrain was the other country that was put under the ‘green’
category in the ministry’s list. Bahrain and UAE have been third and fourth Arab
nations, consecutively, to establish ties with Israel.
