Actor Salman Khan’s much-awaited movie ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ released on May 13. Within a few hours of its release, the movie was reportedly leaked on the internet and the Bollywood superstar has warned the miscreants of legal action and said they could get themselves in trouble with the cyber cell.

“We offered you to watch our film ‘Radhe’ at a reasonable price of INR 249 Per View. Inspite of that pirated sites are streaming Radhe illegally which is a serious crime,” he wrote.

Radhe was given cross-platform in India and was released in select theatres and simultaneously on ZEE’s pay-per-view service ZEEPlex and on the leading DTH services at Rs 249 on the festival of Eid. The movie was delayed by a year due to a coronavirus pandemic. Khan had apologised to the theatre owners for not being able to present the film on the big screens this time, reported news agency PTI.

The actor also issued a recorded message asking his fans to watch the film through legal means only and said, “It takes the hard work of several people to make one film and it hurts a lot when some take the route of piracy to watch the final product. I want a commitment from all of you that you will enjoy films on the right platform. So this Eid we want a commitment from the audience – no piracy in entertainment,” the news agency quoted Khan as saying.

The movie, directed by Prabhudeva, has received many negative reviews. It also features Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff, and Gautam Gulati. Radhe‘s IMDb ratings fell to 2.1, Salman’s second-lowest score after Race 3.
