‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, starring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Ammy Virk, Nora Fatehi, and Sharad Kelkar, has recently released its teaser. The journey of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who was in command of the Bhuj airport, and how he reconstructed a whole IAF airfield with the aid of 300 women from a quiet village in Madhapar to safeguard our nation, is the inspiration for the film.

The trailer promises spectacular action sequences, a range of emotions, the fire of patriotism, and the people of Bhuj coming together in harmony. Ajay Devgn rises from the debris at the conclusion of the teaser and says his name is simply “sipahi” (soldier).

Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Ginny Khanuja, Vajir Singh, and Bunny Sanghavi produced ‘Bhuj: The Pride Of India’, which is sponsored by T-Series and Ajay Devgn Films. Abhishek Dudhaiya, Raman Kumar, Ritesh Shah, and Pooja Bhavoria wrote the screenplay.

The film is based on the 1971 Indo-Pak conflict. It tells the story of IAF Squadron Vijay Karnik’s journey. The preview is action-packed and depicts the feelings that a soldier has for his nation. According to Ajay Devgn’s character, a sipahi lives and dies for his nation.

The film, directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar VIP on August 13, 2021.

Ajay Devgn, who shared the teaser on social media, wrote, “THE GREATEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT. TRAILER OUT TOMORROW. #BhujThePrideOfIndia releasing on 13th August only on @disneyplushotstarvip #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex (sic).”

Ajay Devgn, who plays Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik in the film for the first time, spoke about his role in the movie during a virtual press conference last year. “Bhuj is a true story based on real-life characters. I am playing a Squadron Leader. It is a big-scale film. The story revolves around how a handful of people stop the Pakistani army when the Indian army cannot reach them in time,” he explained.
