Bollywood actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are all set to tie the knot this October as the couple flew down to Delhi a week ahead of their wedding. The pre-wedding ceremonies will begin in late September followed by the wedding and a reception for their close ones.

Timeline:
2012: Fazal and Chadha met in 2012 on the set of Mrighdeep Singh Lamba’s Bollywood comedy Fukrey. It is their first film together and the two reportedly came close during the shooting of the film.
2015: The two actors started dating in 2015 after being friends for more than three years.
September 2017: Nearly two years after dating, Fazal and Chadha made their relationship official by making their first public appearance together at the Venice Film Festival 2017 at the world premiere of Victoria and Abdul starring Fazal.
The couple also starred in their second film together, Fukrey Returns, the same year. The film was a sequel to their 2013 film Fukrey.

December 2019: Chadha and Fazal went on a trip to the Maldives to celebrate Richa Chadha’s 32nd birthday. It was there that Fazal proposed to her during a romantic dinner on the island.
The couple was set to get married in 2020; however, their wedding was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
2021: Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha partnered to start their own film production company called ‘Pushing Buttons Studios’.
October 2022: Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are reportedly getting married on the 4th of October 2022 in Delhi amongst close friends and family.
Both Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha have established themselves as successful actors in the Bollywood industry and are currently working on various projects. Ali Fazal is shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj’s Khufiya and Ric Roman Waugh’s Kandahar at the moment. Richa Chadha is currently filming Fukrey 3, which Fazal was unable to work on due to timing issues.
