A “nervous” Alia Bhatt felt like a “newcomer” as she recently embarked on a trip to Hollywood to shoot for her first-ever international project titled ‘Heart of Stone’.
The Bollywood actor shared an image of herself en route, sporting her classic minimal look, open tresses, and a pair of gold hoop earrings.
“And off I go to shoot my first ever Hollywood film!!!! Feel like a newcomer all over again – sooooo nervous!!!! Wish me luckkkkkkk,” she captioned the image on her Instagram handle.
Uploaded two hours ago, the image has garnered over 1.1 million likes and more than 8,000 comments.
Several Bollywood figures wished her luck in the comment section.

“Wishing you all the luck in the whole world,” wrote Soni Razdan, the 29-year-old’s mother.
“Life is now making possible what was absolutely inevitable! The WORLD is your playground! And you will dazzle even more! So proud!” wrote Pooja Bhatt, the actor’s sister.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Bhatt’s sister-in-law, wrote, “we love you,” and added a heart emoji under the post.
Calming down the actor’s nervous jitters, Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “Am sure they have done their homework and they are more nervous. Best wishes always.”

Bhatt, who recently tied the knot with Ranbir Kapoor, is set to star in ‘Heart of Stone’, a Netflix spy thriller also featuring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The show is directed by British filmmaker Tom Harper.
“I just don’t want to do it for the heck of it and to tick it off the box. I want to look at opportunities which should have a good part, an interesting dynamic, and cast, something that is new and relevant,” Bhatt previously told News18.
