Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh started shooting for their upcoming movie ‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ on Friday. The Director of the film, Karan Johar, and the stars have shared a clip from the first day of the sets on social media and fans are already in love with the movie as well as the cast.

The video features Alia Bhatt entering the sets, director Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh is breathtaking and all the more reason for the fans to get excited about this project. Stars can be seen reading scrips, rehearsing dance steps and scenes in the clip. The video also features designer Manish Malhotra.
Alia Bhatt’s caption read: “Too many feels to fit in a caption” while Ranveer Singh wrote: “Shuru ho gayi hai yeh anokhi kahani of Rocky and Rani. Toh dijiye humein apna aashirvaad aur pyaar, aur chaliye iss safar mein hamaare saath!”
Sharing the video, Karan Johar wrote, “The day is finally here and I have so many feelings going on in my head but what emerges at the top is – gratitude! As we begin our kahani ka first schedule, seeking all your Pyaar and aashirvaad! It’s time to roll! #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani #RRKPK.”
Alia, who can be seen in lovely sarees, looks enthralling in the clip and is surely set to offer another record-smashing performance as Rani. Ranveer, on the other hand, is as usual seems super energetic ready to rock on screen.
Directed by Karan Johar, ‘Rocky and Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’ starring Alia and Ranveer in lead roles was announced on the latter’s birthday this year. Ranveer and Alia have previously worked together in ‘Gully Boy.’
The love story, which marks Johar’s return to film direction after the 2016 romantic drama “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”, also stars Hindi cinema veterans Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.
The film is expected to hit theaters in 2022.
