On Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday on February 24, actor Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram to share the release date of the film. The movie stars her in the titular role
“in cinemas 30th July, 2021 ♥️♥️,” wrote Alia.
This is the first time that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and
Alia have come together for a film.
It’s biographical crime film that is based on a chapter
of Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai about Gangubai Kothewali, the
madam of a brothel in Kamathipura.
The makers are also planning to unveil the teaser of the film today
