Netflix is coming up with another season of Alice in Borderland after it was well-received by the audience in 2020. One of the most popular Japanese Netflix originals Alice in Borderland is as appealing to the audience as Squid Game was. The second season of the thriller is scheduled to be released in December 2022.

The Netflix thriller was being expected a bit earlier by its audience, but they will have to wait till December this year. The show is in the Japanese language with English subtitles available for the non-Japanese audience.  

Cast:

Season one of this sci-fi thriller series was set in the dystopian ghost town of Tokyo. The series starred Kento Yamazaki who played Ryohei Arisu and Asahina Aya who portrayed the character of Kuina. It was already anticipated that not every character will survive for the second season. The characters that are going forward with this upcoming season are Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, Nijiro Murakami, Aya Asahina, and Riisa Naka. Along with them, Ayaka Miyoshi, Sho Aoyagi, and Dori Sakurada have also joined the cast.

Plot:

The plot for Alice in Borderland season 2 is not yet revealed by Netflix. Additionally, this thriller series is based on a manga that has 18 volumes and 87 chapters. This indicates that there are plenty of upcoming stories for the audience. The Japanese suspense manga series was written and illustrated by Haro Aso.

Season one showcases Arisu, who is a game addict, finding himself in a strange, empty version of Tokyo, and he must be able to compete with his friends to survive the deadly games.

Alice in Borderland was all about well-choreographed action scenes, clever games, and smooth production with an exciting storyline. The storyline was intriguing as it revolved around the character Arisu and his friends who get into unpredictably dangerous situations.
