‘Nyay: The Justice’, a film based on Sushant Singh Rajput, is set to release today despite the objection from the late actor%u2019s father.  The actor was found dead at his Mumbai apartment on June 14.

The Delhi High Court, on Thursday, has refused to stay the release of a movie. The court dismissed a petition by the late actor’s father, Krishna Kishore Singh, who claimed the movie had been shot without the family’s consent and launched in an “orchestrated manner” by confidantes of persons accused of a role in the suicide.

‘Nyay: The Justice’ is produced by Sarla A. Saraogi and Rahul Sharma under the banner of Vikas Productions. Sarla is the wife of a well-known criminal lawyer, Ashok Saraogi. The director of the film is Dilip Gulati.

According to ANI, the flick will feature Zuber K. Khan and Shreya Shukla in the lead roles. It will also star veteran actor Shakti Kapoor portraying the role of Narcotics Control Bureau chief, Sudha Chandran as the Central Bureau of Investigation chief, and Aman Verma as the Enforcement Directorate chief.

Theatre actor Kiran Kumar will play the role of the advocate for the hero and Asrani will be seen as Sushant’s father.

Actor and ‘Devdas’ fame Milind Gunaji will play the role of lawyer for the heroine, Anwar Fatehan will portray the role of Commissioner of Bihar Police while the role of the Commissioner Mumbai Police is being played by Anant Jog.

‘Bigg Boss’ Season 12 participant Somi Khan will also be roped in to play the role of a celebrity manager.

Three central agencies – the Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate, and Narcotics Control Bureau – are currently probing the Sushant’s death case from different angles.

The family of Sushant, including his father and sisters, had documented an FIR in a Patna court against his former girlfriend and actor Rhea Chakraborty, and her brother Showik Chakraborty, for abetment to suicide and siphoning his assets.

So far, 34 people including Rhea, and Showik have been charged in the drugs case that emerged as part of the investigations.

Apart from ‘Nyay: The Justice’, other forthcoming movies that revolve around Sushant Rajput’s life are ‘Suicide or Murder: A Star Was Lost’, ‘Shashank’ and an as-yet unnamed crowd-funded project.
