Rapper Nicki Minaj dragged Latto and NLE Choppa in her issue with the Grammys. The 39-year-old, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, slammed the Recording Academy for taking her song ‘Super Freaky Girl’ out of the rap category.

In her rant, Minaj said that  Latto’s ‘Big Energy’ shouldn’t be considered for a rap Grammy either. As the two fought on social media, NLE Choppa tweeted, “I Vow When I Become A OG in This Music Shit To Never Hate On The Ones Coming Up. I Vow To Lift Them Up That Ladder, I Vow To Light That Torch And Keep Passing It.”

Assuming the Memphis rapper’s tweet was directed at her, Minaj shared an NLE’s old message, asking her for a feature.

She captioned the screenshot, “Notice a patter? U only get called old when you pass on their features. I ain’t never diss my idols for not giving me a feature.”

“I wasn’t even talking about you love,” he replied.

Minaj has since deleted the tweet.

However, NLE was not done. “Y’all steady saying I’m talking bout somebody. Ion care what nobody else got going I’m speaking on PERSONAL experiences I’ve had with people I looked up to before I came up,” he tweeted.

Minaj has since deleted her tweets.

Nominees for the 2023 Grammys will be announced on November 15 and the live telecast will air on February 5, 2023. Voting for the first round of nominees begins Thursday and ends on October 23.

“I have no prob being moved out the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated FAIRLY. If SFG (Super Freaky Girl) has 2B moved out RAP then so does Big Energy! ANY1 who says diff is simply a Nicki hater or a troll,” Minaj said on Twitter.
