On October 24, 2022, the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was shown, revealing the action and plot of the first film in Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is set to release on February 17.

What will happen to the cherished MCU characters, though, is another major concern raised by the clip. Who appeared in the trailer and what role they will play also raised some doubts.

As Ant-Man and the Wasp, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are back, and they’re joined by Hank Pym, Janet Van Dyne, and an adult Cassie Lang. The teaser also included the antagonists, including a clear view of Kang the Conqueror and a brief peek of the hideous M.O.D.O.K. Nobody knows how they will work together harmoniously.

Here are 5 burning questions every fan needs answered:

Who Helped Cassie Lang Make The Quantum Signal?

Scott Lang says there is more they can do to aid others at the beginning of the trailer. At that point, a switch is flipped, and Cassie, his daughter, claims “they” created this signal to the Quantum Realm so they could assist anyone there.

Although Cassie makes it obvious that this is Ant-first Man’s encounter with the technology, he is a skilled tinkerer and a smart guy. Janet Van Dyne wants it turned off while being aware of the risks. If Hank Pym was doing it, he most likely would have told Jan. Was this intentionally made to trap the heroes? If so, who assisted Cassie in creating it?

What Happened To Janet Van Dyne In The Quantum Realm?

While Janet Van Dyne was in the Quantum Realm, something awful occurred. She kept quiet about it since it was so bad—not even Hank Pym knows. What might have occurred that had been so horrible that she didn’t even want to inform the person who had saved her?

This will be shown in the film when Janet runs into acquaintances she knew from the Quantum Realm. All the people she cares about will likely be in grave danger as a result of her major secrets.

What Is The Quantum Realm?

The first Ant-Man film in the MCU introduced the concept of the Quantum Realm. Ant-Man himself had then shrunk within it and was afraid he may lose everything. He discovered he could get there in the second film, and he ultimately assisted in saving Janet Van Dyne.

There were many visuals shown to viewers in the film, but this just piqued their interest. On that, this film will deliver. The Quantum Realm contains vast populations, but what is it and how does it interact with and affect Earth itself?

What About M.O.D.O.K.?

The antagonists who confronted Ant-Man and his comrades had some interesting-looking faces, but one was missing from the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania video. That was M.O.D.O.K. Alongside Kang, he will play a villain in the film, so why was he here?

Since Kang wants something taken for him, it’s probably a good idea to leave the audience wanting more. As a result, there’s a chance Ant-Man will have to steal it from M.O.D.O.K. What is M.O.D.O.K., and what is his actual function in this film, remains to be seen.

Will Ant-Man Die In This Movie?

The MCU has been bringing in the next generation of heroes, among other things. Riri Williams will make her film debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Iron Man died. Kate Bishop appeared to receive her name from Hawkeye. A new Black Panther movie has just released. Is it about time Cassie Lang took her father’s place in the MCU?

Cassie does wear a costume, and she probably possesses special abilities. However, there have been hints that Scott would pass away because of a damaged Ant-Man mask. The trailer doesn’t help matters much because a bleeding Scott might indicate that Ant-Man’s time in the MCU is almost up.
