Actor Ananya
Panday’s residence in Mumbai was raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on
Thursday. As part of the investigation the 22-year-old’s laptop and mobile
phone were seized. Several reports say that this is connected to the drugs case
in which star kid Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and others were arrested for
earlier this month.

Ananya
Panday was summoned by the NCB and taken for questioning to the anti-drug agency’s
office along with actor Chunky Panday, her father.

She made her
Bollywood debut in 2019 with lead roles in Student of the Year 2 starring
alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria and comedy film Pati Patni aur Woh. Since
then, she has been considered to be a part of the big leagues tanks to starring
in high profile films.

Several
reports state that Ananya’s name floated in the Whatsapp chats of one of those
arrested in the drugs seizure at the rave party on a cruise ship on October 2.

This is the
same case in which Aryan Khan was arrested alongside Arbaaz Merchant and five
others after NCB officers raided the party in disguise.

 Aryan Khan and Ananya Panday are part of a
large group of star kids who have been spotted gathering together on multiple
occasions. Moreover, Ananya is one of Suhana Khan’s closest friends. (Suhana is
Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Aryan Khan’s younger sister).

Looking at
the recent past it looks like the Narcotics Control Bureau is going all out to
investigate celebrity A-listers as part of an alleged drugs link in Bollywood.

Since the
untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput and the surrounding investigations a
number of big names from Bollywood have been brought in for questioning at the
NCB’s office. The agency is looking to connect the dots with a drug angle that
emerged in the SSR investigation.

The
23-year-old Aryan Khan has been in jail since October 8 and has been denied bail
by the court ever since. On Thursday his custody was extended till October 30
citing the reason that his Whatsapp Chats point towards the star kid’s
involvement in drug activities.
