Legendary singer Asha Bhosle turned 87 today. In a career spanning over seven decades, the singer rendered her voice in thousands of songs, from ghazals to pop songs.
In 2011, she entered the Guinness World Records for the most single studio recordings. She had recorded about 11,000 solos, duets and chorus backed songs in over 20 Indian languages since 1947 till 2011.
