Marvel Studios President Kevin Fiege’s announcement that Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would have not one, but two two Avengers movies coming out in 2025 was met with nothing short of thunderous applause at the 2022 San Diego Comic Con. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is coming to theatres on May 3, 2025.
The Avengers film franchise took the world by storm when it first came out in 2012. Nearly a decade later, the MCU has millions of fans across the globe and is only adding more every year with its high quality TV shows and franchise films. The Avengers films have broken records at the box office nearly every time they’ve come to theatres.

According to Fiege, the current phase of the MCU will be ending this year. Phase 4 will end with ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” coming out on August 17 and to wrap it all up neatly, viewers will be returning to Wakanda with ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’

Black Panther is likely to be a tear jerker for many, if the teaser trailer revealed at the Marvel panel is anything to go by. The untimely death of actor Chadwick Boseman led director Ryan Coogler to change the film to include what looks to be a touching tribute to the star who won a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his leading role in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.”

Phase 5 of the MCU will start off with the release of ‘Antman and the Wasp: Quantamania’ and will be closed out by ‘Thunderbolts,’ the film about Marvel’s version of DC’s Suicide Squad.
Phase 6 is likely to start out with ‘The Fantastic Four’ followed by the release of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty on May 2, 2025, six months later Avengers: Secret Wars will be out on November 7, 2025.
