Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar are ready with their comedy-drama Badhaai Do. The film’s trailer will be released tomorrow, January 25. The film is directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni and is a sequel to the National Award-winning 2018 movie Badhaai Ho.

In the new poster, we can see Rajkummar in a cop’s uniform while Bhumi is seen in an athleisure outfit. They both are wearing bride and groom accessories and trying to shush each other.
Taking to social media, the actors revealed details of the trailer launch. Sharing the poster of the film, Bhumi wrote, “Arre yaar, ab toh yeh secret kal out ho jayega! Kyuki kal aa raha hai hamara trailer aur hum aa rahe hai theatres mein. Hey bhagwan, I am very excited #BadhaaiDoTrailer #BadhaaiDoInCinemas (sic).” Rajkummar Rao also shared the announcement and wrote, “Kal aa raha hai hamara trailer. Kal Badhaai dena vaise aaj bhi dena chaho toh de sakte ho. #BadhaaiDoInCinemas Can’t keep it a secret anymore, Badhaai Do trailer out Tomorrow! #BadhaaiDoInCinemas (sic).”
Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst, and film critic, also shared the development on his Twitter handle.

The film is directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni and written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary. It stars Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi, Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey, and Shashi Bhushan among others.

Sharing the screen for the first time, Rajkummar and Bhumi will be seen portraying interesting characters they have never played on screen before. Rajkumar Rao plays the role of a Delhi cop named Shardul who is the only male police officer in a mahila thana. On the other hand, Bhumi Pednekar plays the role of a PT teacher named Sumi.
