Being held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday, the British Academy of Films and Television Arts Awards 2022 (BAFTAs) is a star-studded affair, with several celebrities walking down the red carpet, bedazzled in gowns and jewels. 

American singer-songwriter and BAFTA nominee Lady Gaga arrived at the event in old Hollywood glam. With a plunging Ralph Lauren gown and her hair swept in curls, the 35-year-old musician accessorized the look with a Tiffiny & Co. emerald necklace, a feathered black bag, and matching earrings. 

Gaga was nominated for the best actress award for her performance in ‘House of Gucci’.

In a video uploaded by BAFTA’s official Twitter handle, Lady Gaga can be seen posing and smiling as cameras continue to flash on her.

“Actual perfection from @ladygaga as she arrives at the #EEBAFTAs,” reads the caption of the post. 

Uploaded three hours ago, the video snippet has garnered over 80,000 views and several comments. 

One Twitter user wrote, “She’s the best and deserves the award tonight.”

Another user added, “She is the queen.”

The official Twitter handle of ‘House of Gucci’ reacted to the video with a crown and applause emoji. 

Another video uploaded by BAFTA features Gaga speaking in an accent she used in the film. When asked, “You really threw yourself into that role”, Gaga replies, “I totally talked like her for a very long time, and my family was very upset with me and they had to deal with me every day in the trailer.”

The 28-seconds-long clip features the interviewer with Gaga and two other attendees of the event.
