In a first, the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) has released longlists in all categories for its 2021 film awards. The final nominations will be announced on March 9 and the award ceremony is scheduled for April 11.
“Today we have published the longlists for the 2021 #EEBAFTAs! With more than 90 features and 16 short films on the lists, which ones have you seen/do you want to watch and which ones are your highlights?
Look out for the nominations on 9 March,” BAFTA tweeted on Thursday.

“Longlisting was introduced as one of the changes resulting from the BAFTA 2020 Review and aims to level the playing field by ensuring more films are fully considered for nominations,” it added.
