Modern Love 2

Adapted from the essays from the New York Times’ column Modern Love, the second season of the web series will again be a roller coaster ride of emotions. The second instalment on Amazon Prime Video consists of 8-episodes and unlike the first season, this one focuses more on messaging than love. However, if you’re on a lookout for a cozy weekend watch that’ll have you gushing and bingeing on popcorn and hot chocolate, do not miss out on Modern Love 2. 

What If..?

Brace yourself, marvel fans. What if..? has again delivered a masterpiece paying tribute to the most loved King of Wakanda this week. Serving as his last project where he lends his voice to T’Challa, Chadwick Boseman will make you miss him terribly and marvel at the perfect depiction of an alternate reality where T’Challa becomes the ideal star-lord. You can watch it on Disney+ Hotstar. 

Bell Bottom 

Akshay Kumar’s bell bottom released in the theatres and the action thriller drama did not fail to give just the right kickstart to the watching-at-theatre ritual after so long. It is a story of an intelligence officer who, in a covert mission, helps free 210 hostages held by hijackers. With zero dull moments and a fantastic portrayal of former President Indira Gandhi by Lara Dutta, Bell Bottom should definitely be on your weekend watchlist. 

Netrikann

Written and directed by Milind Rau, the thriller features Nayanthara as a visually impaired woman named Durga. The film dives into the psychology of a serial killer who chases women and murders them. Ajmal Ameer plays the killer who is now after Durga’s life. Netrikann is the remake of the South Korean crime drama Blind and is available on Disney+ Hotstar

Nobody 

If you’re planning to watch an adrenaline pumping film on the weekend, Nobody will not disappoint you. The American action thriller film stars Bob Odenkirk of Breaking Bad fame as Hutch Mansell fails to defend himself or his family when two thieves break into his suburban home one night. What follows is a mind blowing sequence of fist, squealing tires and punches.
