Benedict Cumberbatch is an English actor who is well known
for various characters that he played on screen. He has a huge fan base that is
truly diverse ranging from Star Trek to Marvel to Sherlock to Louis Wain. The actor turns 46 today and is among the 100 most
influential people named by TIME Magazine. He started his acting career in
theater. Since 2001 he has played a dozen roles in theater and also received
awards for the same.

Replaying Cumberbatch’s answer to the best Sherlock debate 

Who is a better Sherlock? Benedict Cumberbatch revealed that
he and his Marvel co-star Robert Downey Jr. had a discussion on this burning
question while appearing on GQ’s Undercover.  Cumberbatch during his appearance on the Internet segment
answered about who he thinks is a better Sherlock. He said, “We definitely
don’t fight over who the best Sherlock is. No, we’re very lucky. We’ve worked
in these two franchises playing these iconic characters. Jonny Lee Miller’s
also a friend and it’s interesting. I’ve yet to have a real discussion with
Robert about that or Jonny, really.”

Later in the video, Benedict Cumberbatch jokingly called his
answer “dull” and said, “I’m the best ” referring to who is the
best Sherlock among the two Marvel stars.

based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s novel Sherlock Holmes. There are currently four seasons of the BBC series. Thirteen episodes have been produced, with three-part
series airing from 2010 to 2017 and a special episode that aired on 1 January
2016. This TV series has a huge fan base and has won various
accolades and nominations. It has been nominated for numerous awards including Emmys, BAFTAs and
a Golden Globe—winning several awards across a variety of categories.
