‘Better Call Saul’ Season 6 will see ‘Breaking Bad’ actors Bryan Cranston’s Walter White and Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman make an appearance, co-creator Peter Gould confirmed on Saturday at the spinoff-related panel in PaleyFest LA, a showcase event.

Gould, however, did not comment on when the duo would show up and how involved they’d be in the storyline.

“I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah”, Gould stated, adding, “How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season”, Variety reported.

Bob Odenkirk, who plays Saul Goodman, in both the AMC shows, chipped in “If you can believe it, there’s more”, but Gould cut him off before Odenkirk could continue.

Notably, in ‘Breaking Bad’ we see Walter White and Jesse Pinkman go to Saul when one of their meth dealers, Badger, gets arrested in a sting operation which puts the DEA hot on the hunt for Heisenberg, White’s meth kingpin identity.

It is Pinkman who takes his former high school chemistry teacher to the strip mall where Saul set up shop. However, it is also clear that Jesse knew of Saul by reputation. There are plenty of other ‘Breaking Bad’ characters who appear on ‘Better Call Saul’. This includes Mike, the hitman, Hector Salamanca, Don Eladio, the Salamanca twins, and DEA duo Hank Schrader and Steven Gomez.

However, Pinkman doesn’t have a history with any of these characters when he and White go to meet Saul. Hence, there’s a good chance that we might see a time after Saul has already met the meth-making pair.

Before the  PaleyFest announcement, Gould spoke at the ‘Better Call Saul’ final season premiere, where he told Variety, “These two worlds cross over in a way that you haven’t seen before, that’s for sure.”

At the premiere event red carpet, Odenkirk told the publication “I personally feel that the two shows — ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul’ — are entwined even more than ever in the final season. And I think that’s surprising and cool, and it’s gonna make you want to watch ‘Breaking Bad’ again.”

At this point, it becomes important to note that though Pinkman doesn’t directly know Saul, he does know some people Nacho is associated with, which is how the worlds of the two shows could merge in the upcoming final season of ‘Better Call Saul’.
