Beyoncé appeared to skip over Lizzo’s name during the Queens Remix performance of “Break My Soul” on the Renaissance World Tour, instead repeating Erykah Badu’s name four times.

Since Lizzo has recently been in the news for other reasons, this has attracted the attention of fans and the media. In a complaint filed on Tuesday, three of Lizzo’s former dancers accused her of sexual harassment and fostering a toxic work environment.
Lizzo’s name was omitted from the performance, sparking rumors and debates on social media regarding a potential connection to the ongoing litigation.
Several fans reacted to the instance on X. One user wrote, “Two birds with one stone omg. Skipping over Lizzo amongst allegations (and this is one of her favs, so you know it’s bad for her), and then repeating Erykah Badu four times when she thought Beyoncé copied her style from her, Beyoncé a very unserious woman omg 😭”

The singer, who is known for supporting body acceptance and adoring her own figure, is accused in the lawsuit of acting in a damaging manner toward her dancers. One dancer said Lizzo berated and fired her after calling attention to her weight increase and after she filmed a meeting because of a medical concern.

The leader of Lizzo’s dancing squad is also charged in the lawsuit, which was submitted to Los Angeles Superior Court. The captain is charged with exhorting other performers and disparaging people who have extramarital sex. The captain is also accused of simulating oral sex, sharing vulgar sexual fantasies, and discussing one of the plaintiffs’ virginity in public.
