American singer Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter has given some big hit songs that are very popular amongst her fans across the world. She started her journey in the music industry quite early and so far has released six studio albums, five EP’s, one soundtrack album, five live albums, three compilation albums, two karaoke albums and 80 singles. She initially started her career with the group; Destiny’s Child’ in 1997 but she took a break from singing. In 2003 she came back to singing and delivered major hit songs.

This song was released by Beyonce in 2003 in her solo studio album, Dangerously in Love. The song features her then-boyfriend, now husband Jay Z, who was also the co-writer and composer of the song. 

Formation 

Released in 2006, this song is a part of her sixth studio album, Lemonade. The song was a huge hit as through this song, the artist celebrated her culture and identity as a Black woman. The song also became a protest song and was later adopted by the Black Lives Matter movement as their anthem.

Partition 

The artist recorded this song for her self- titled fifth studio album released in 2013. This song was a massive hit among the audience and it also peaked at no. 23 at the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. 

Single Ladies (Put a ring on it) 

This song was released in her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce in 2008. This song explores men’s unwillingness to propose or commit. This song won three Grammy Awards in 2010, including the Song of the year, among others. 

Run the World (Girls) 

Released in 2011, this song is a part of her fourth studio album ‘4’. The song’s development was motivated by Beyoncé wanting to do something different: a mixture of different cultures and eras, a new sound, and a message which would give women strength.
