With makers planning to launch ‘Bigg Boss 15’ after six weeks of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’, Afsana Khan of ‘Titliyaan Warga’ was approached by the makers for joining the television version of the show.

As per Times of India reports, sources closed to the Punjabi singer revealed that Afsana Khan was approached to star in the controversial show that will be airing from September end October. 

Afsana Khan is a Punjabi actress and singer-songwriter. She started her career as a participant in a singing reality show ‘Voice of Punjab’ Season 3 in 2012.

Afsana is known for her songs ‘Jatta Sareaam Ve Tu Dhakka Kardae’, ‘Chandigarh Shehar’, ‘Tootera’, ‘Juti Jharrke’, ‘Jaani Ve Jaani’, and ‘Mahi Mileya’.

Afsana has around 1.3 million followers on Instagram. Her song ‘Titliyaan Warga’ has more than 700 million views on YouTube, breaking all records, it emerged as one of the most popular songs of the year.

When Afsana visited her secondary school and sang few lines from her song at the request of students, she was accused of promoting gun culture. A police complaint was filed against Afsana for promoting gun culture among school students. 

Other celebrities such as Neha Marda and Arjun Bijlani are rumoured to be joining the television version of the show, ‘Bigg Boss 15’.

‘Bigg Boss 15’ will be hosted by actor Salman Khan. Legendary actress Rekha will also feature on the controversial show as the voice of ‘Tree of Fortune’ named ‘Vishwasuntree’. Rekha will introduce top performers of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ to host Salman Khan.

Currently ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ is airing every day on Voot. The show has been hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. The show will air for the first six weeks on the digital platform on Voot.

The show has Divya Agarwal, Milind Gaba, Akshara Singh, Shamita Shetty, Raqesh Bapat, Nishant Bhat, Neha Bhasin and Muskaan Jattana as the remaining contestants.
