The casting report of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” hints
at Namor being the movie’s real villain. Many theories suggested that the
Marvel Comics anti-hero will be the main antagonist in the “Black Panther” sequel.

But according to a piece of new information that has come forward pertains to
someone else becoming the villain instead; Attuma. Namor has never appeared in a live-action film or show,
although he is considered as the most important character in Marvel’s library
of heroes.

Namor’s long-waited MCU debut arrived when Avengers: Endgame dropped
a cryptic line about underwater earthquakes which obviously connects to Namor.

The remark fuelled the speculation that the conflict between Wakanda and
Atlantis in the comic books would be translated in Black Panther’s upcoming
movie, with Namor being the next big threat to the main characters.

These
speculations were backed up with a report by Illuminerdi when they claimed that
Narcos: Mexico star Tenoch Huerta will be playing Namor.

Although he has been the center of attraction, we cannot
forget the other two characters: Namora and Attuma. They both are also stated
to have a presence in the movie.

If that’s true, there’s a chance that Attuma,
who has a history as an opponent of both Namor and the Avengers, is actually the
movie’s real antagonist. Looking at Attuma’s history it makes a lot of sense
that he could be a potential villain in the movie.

In the comics, he is Namor’s
greatest enemy as he often had sights on Namor’s throne. If this happens it could pave a new direction for the movie,
especially taking into consideration Namor’s importance.
