MCU’S much-anticipated movie may showcase not only Namor but
Namora could also ride along in the movie. Sub–Mariner is one of the most
important characters associated with Atlantis in Marvel Comics.

But other
characters who are tied to the underwater city have also emerged as heroes in
the Marvel Universe. It is likely that another family member of Namor might
make an appearance in the upcoming sequel.

Along with the Atlantean superheroes, characters like the
Avenging Son, who debuted in 1939 and Captain America might show up on the big
screen. Mexico star Tenoch Huerta has been also casted in the movie, according
to the Illuminerdi.

The leading theory is that the film will invoke the classic
Wakanda-Atlantis rivalry that extends back to the 1970s Defenders comics. After
being teased in Endgame, Namor will likely ignite a conflict with Black
Panther
’s people in the Phase 4 movie.

The Illuminerdi article also noted that Namor the Sub-Mariner
characters Namora and Attuma will be featured in the story in some capacity. Namora
may be the voice of reason within Atlantis who tries to stop Namor from going
down the wrong path

Both characters (Namor and Namora) are mutant,
human-Atlantean hybrids who possess superhuman strength. Though they are
considerably weaker than the Sub-Mariner, Namora has proven to be a capable
hero in her own right.

Namora is frequently associated with her cousin’s comics,
her exploits with other groups have shown that she can stand apart from him as
her character.

What that means is that Namor and Namora could have two
distinctly different futures in the MCU after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
This means one could remain based in Atlantis, while the other could venture
out into the surface world and build a life there either, each could join
different MCU teams.
